Raised in Houston, Texas, Dr. Najmuddin Karimjee graduated in 1989 from the UTMB School of Medicine in Galveston. He currently works out of eight offices in the North Houston and Montgomery areas.
Dr. Karimjee is very easy to relate to, and he is extremely respectful in his interaction with each patient. He emphatically listens to his patients with genuine regard and concern. With over 30 years of work experience, he is highly trained to practice all forms of adult medicine, and he dedicates his time to provide unparalleled care for patients of various backgrounds. He has experience providing treatment for a wide range of illnesses and diseases- from the very common to the very rare. Away from his practice, Dr. Karimjee enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Dr. Munib Daudjee, MD

Dr. Munib Daudjee, MD
Dr. Munib Daudjee is a committed and accomplished, primary care physician serving the Houston, Spring, Splendora, and Montgomery, TX communities. After earning his post-graduate training at the National Heart and Lung Institute in London, England, he completed his residency in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Daudjee believes in being accessible to his patients and providing a high standard of care. He treats patients with a variety of health concerns such as weight control, infections, prostate cancer screening, thyroid conditions, and blood pressure, with a clinical interest in cardiology.

Dr. Rajasekaran (Raj) Annamalai, MD
Dr. Rajasekaran (Raj) Annamalai, MD
Dr. Rajasekaran Annamalai is a primary care doctor whose main goal is the advancement of his patients’ health with timely, cost effective, and therapeutic interventions. With over ten years of work experience, he believes in open communication with his patients and that the patient’s treatment begins at the bedside, not in the laboratory or the imaging center.
Dr. Raj is an advocate of evidence-based medicine (EBM). Evidence-based medicine judges all clinical measures by their level of proven effectiveness. He believes that the application of EBM to tailor therapy not only improves outcomes, but also saves precious resources. Dr. Raj is very understanding and patient. He takes the time to listen to all his patients’ concerns, and in turn, he clearly articulates what he believes in a way that is very easy to understand for all his patients.

Karen Marler
One of our longest standing providers working alongside Dr Karimjee, Karen Marler is a highly accomplished and experienced Physician Assistant.
Compassionate and empathetic, Karen Marler enjoys all aspects of patient care, including pediatrics, adolescent care, women’s health, adult medicine, diabetes management, weight loss supervision, internal medicine, and minor surgical procedures performed in the office.
Karen Marler has two children: a son and a daughter. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling together and spending time with family and friends.

Dyvette Warren
Graduated in 2001 from the UTMB School of Medicine located in Galveston, TX. A highly experienced Physician Assistant, Dyvette Warren has practiced family and internal medicine for over 17 years, working with children, adults and geriatric patients.
Dyvette Warren is dedicated to the health and well-being of all her patients. Her philosophy in patient interaction is to treat the patient and take care of them as she would a family member. She has actively participated in medical missions to Central America and helped local churches with health ministries and outreach programs. During her personal time, she enjoys golfing, skiing, and fishing with her husband and two daughters.

Jessica Laabs
is a Physician Assistant who joined Dr. Karimjee in 2003. A native of New Hampshire, Jessica Laabs graduated with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New England in 2001. Her philosophy is that the best outcomes in medicine are achieved when patients are actively involved in their own care. By encouraging patients to recognize that they have choices, and to appreciate how these choices impact their health, Jessica Laabs strives to maximize lifestyle changes and minimize the use of unnecessary long-term medications.
Jessica Laabs hobbies include running and traveling. In her spare time, she enjoys raising her two daughters and son with her husband.

Natalee D. Calais

Natalee D. Calais
is a Family Nurse Practitioner who was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina and then pursued her Master’s Degree in Nursing with honors from Emory University.
Natalee D. Calais is passionate in helping and inspire others to improve their health and well-being. She initially served as a Registered Nurse in the area of Pediatrics, however, she later turned her focus towards being a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in 2006. “It is such a privilege to be able to provide healing when someone is unwell, to be an ear to listen; offer encouragement and counsel when one is going through tough times, and to help someone manage their chronic condition.” – Natalee D. Natalee Calais is a wife and a mother of two children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and participating in her church.

Dorothy Currier

Dorothy Currier
is a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Sam Houston Family Clinic. She has been working with Dr. Karimjee for over 10 years. Prior to that, as a Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Currier oversaw the care of patients in nursing homes, pediatric patients in a step-down hospital and rehab center, and worked in a clinic setting for a neurologist and pediatrician. Highly dedicated to her practice and her patients, she always takes responsibility for the medical needs of those around her.
Dorothy Currier also has two children- a daughter and a son. Her hobbies include horseback riding, motorcycles, arts and crafts, sewing, and raising cattle, cats, and dogs.

Huy Nguyen

Huy Nguyen
is a Family Nurse Practitioner working primarily at the Tidwell branch of PCP for Life. Prior to becoming an FNP-C, he worked as an acute dialysis registered nurse at Memorial Hermann Hospital. Passionate about his medical career, Huy Nguyen prides himself in his exceptional bedside manners and professionalism towards all his patients. His primary mission in practicing in the medical field as an FNP is, “to advance quality health care through patient education, advocacy, and evidence-based practice; allowing patients to take control of their health.”
During his personal time, Huy Nguyen enjoys activities with his dog and catching up on his travels.

Kristy Carroll
is a Family Nurse Practitioner at our Huntsville clinic. In 2005 she graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing and a Family Nurse Practitioner Degree with honors from Prairie View A&M University. Kristy Carroll spent many years working as an ER/ICU and Med/Surgical nurse. She began working with Dr. Karimjee in 2010, where she enjoys personally interacting with a variety of patients, developing relationships with family generations, performing procedures in the office such as sutures, staples, skin lesion removal, well women exams, general and sports physicals.
In her personal time away from her practice, Kristy Carroll enjoys raising her two children.

Joseph Sande

Joseph Sande
Graduated from Francis Marion University College in Florence, South Carolina with a Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner. Before moving to Houston, he worked as a Registered Nurse in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Carolina’s Hospital System for 5 years. Due his prior experience, he has been trained to treat a high volume of patients with a variety of illnesses.
In 2016, Joseph Sande joined PCP for Life and now works at our Montgomery location. His philosophy as a FMP is to provide a holistic patient-centered care. Joseph Sande’s hobbies include soccer and spending time with his wife and children.

Zachary Sheppard

Zachary Sheppard
Graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Prairie View A&M University in 2014. He began working at PCP For Life in 2015, where he provides care for patients ranging from age 2 and up with a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions. Zachary Sheppard’s approach to patient care is based upon open communication with patients and showing empathy and compassion towards others. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Zachary Sheppard has had experience working as a clinical coach and a unit supervisor in the Progressive and Intermediate Care settings. Away from work, he enjoys traveling, reading, exploring a variety of foods, and taking care of his four cats.

Fatisha Brown

Fatisha Brown
has been a part of the PCP for Life family since 2014 at the Tidwell location. She earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing in 2014 from Troy University in Alabama, and she is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Fatisha Brown decided to pursue a career as a FMP because she is passionate about interacting with others while positively impacting their health. She shows a certain regard and respect for each patient, and as a result, Fatisha Brown has developed several special relationships with her patients.
Fatisha Brown was recently married in January of 2018. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and friends. She looks forward to meeting and treating new patients, and she is excited about her personal and professional future.
